Based on your experiences, what are the odds of this?

I know that nobody has a crystal ball, but we are currently waitlisted for either a studio BWV or pool/garden View for three nights in the beginning of may.

We will only be on the wait list until April 7th.....We are currently booked for a one BR, but now it is just the two of us, so we are trying to save the points.

DO you think our chances are good? It is mothers day weekend, if that makes a difference.

You just never know. I just booked a 1br preferred view from 10/23-10/30 at the BWVs and I am WL for a BW view. I really didn't expect to get this since it is during the F&WF and MNSSHP's final week. Sending you and let us know how you make out. We will also be down at the BCVs that week in May celebrating my DGD's birthday.

Your best chance will be at the 31 day mark. If it doesn't come through by then, you'll probably want to cancel the waitlist, since the 1 bedroom reservation you have now will cost more points than the wait-listed one for a studio.

If the waitlist comes through 30 days or less before arrival, the "extra" points will go into holding. Points in holding expire at the end of the use year, cannot be banked and can only be used to make a reservation that is no more than 60 days away.

For that reason, most waitlist are set to automatically expire at the 30 day mark. My advice to you is to call MS and make sure that is the case for your waitlists - unless you are OK with getting the "extra points" back as holding points.
