Baseball Question

Does anyone know where to find the baseball schedule for next season? I would never expect it to be out yet but I keep hearing on the news how the Red Sox are playing the Yankees on opening day, so I assume that means it has been announced. I cant find it on the MLB site though.

You should be able to find the schedule you want on the team's official website. I know I was able to find the Indians' schedule on their site.

The 2005 schedule is done? WOW! I thought they compiled it in January.

But most of the teams' official sites are part of mlb.com. I just looked at my favorite team's site and I can't find any mention of the 2005 season.

Im not having any luck either Missy. I can only find 2004.
Olena, I didnt think it came out this early either, untilI heard them talking about opening day already. Nice to know spring is around the corner.

That's what it is--my team (the Mets--please don't laugh at me) isn't listed.

I was listening to a sports radio station in Houston yesterday and they said that MLB had left the release of next years schedules to the individual teams and they would not be releasing it. They were talking about how strange that was. Thats the reason that some team schedules are out and others are not.

Around the corner? I wish! My offseason blues haven't kicked in yet, but they will. Thankfully, the local cable company has a Braves channel. They play classic Braves games and specials 24 hours a day. It really helps when I need a baseball fix.

As for the team sites, they are all just clones of each other....regulated by MLB. YUCK! I miss the days when they had their own personalities. The Dodgers site was great. Oh well. MLB consolidated many things and its control over all aspects of the game. No more League Presidents, no more League specific umps, websites, webcasts of games.

Some teams, eh? Well, if you're desperate, you can visit those teams to see when they play your team. That way, you can piece together a partial schedule....

Believe it or not, this MA resident is actually looking for the Angels, LOL! We are going to CA next year with 1 day to kill while there and DS likes the Angels. We thought it would be perfect if there happend to be a home game that day.
Oh well,I guess I have plenty of time to wait anyway.

I am with everyone else the 2005 scedule should be out now. I know minor league baseball is out already because I look to see if I had to work on my birthday.

That's so weird?? If half the teams have their schedule out, then the whole schedule has to have been put together, so I don't understand why all teams wouldn't have theirs released?? Like olena said, technically you could go through all the other schedules and piece together who and when your team is playing.

I suggest a written request to the team's webmaster. At least they'll know that the fans want the info. It might prompt them to post it sooner.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. The Dodgers/Angels schedules are there. We are planning a possible trip to Calif and I didn't want to miss out on seeing them by one day. Our dates work out great!

Actually I don't know if the Angels schedule is out but I was able to see by the Dodgers' schedule that the Dodgers played the Angels the first Sunday that we plan to be there and then the Dodgers go "home" for the week.

I am now trying to find out when the Dodgers put their single tickets on sale for their home games.
