Baseball Party Dessert? Ideas

Hi DD14's baseball team is having thier season ends party. I usually take dessert. Is there a baseball themed dessert ideas? I have all ready taken cupcakes that look like baseballs. Is there any sites for me to check out?

Is it a formal party or a fun party? If it's fun, maybe you could do desserts you'd find at a ballpark. Cracker Jacks, Lemon Chills, ice cream sandwiches...

Rachel ray did a ballpark food show on 30 minute meals and she took a scoop of icecream made it round like a ball and rolled it in cracker jacks.

I think thats what she did - or I have some really bizare food dreams

YOU CAN MAKE A CUTE BASEBALL CAKE. I MADE ONE FOR OUR LADIES CHURCH SOFTBALL TEAM WITH MATCHING CUPCAKES. I USED FRUIT SLICE GUMMY CANDIES FOR THE RIM ON THE BALLCAPS AND LICORICE FOR THE LACES ON THE CAKE. THEY TURNED OUT PRETTY CUTE!

I own a Children's Party Planning company and this was a request from a mother. Her son LOVES the dirt pudding cups but is getting too old to enjoy them at parties. We took sturdy solo bowls (like the solo cup company) and filled with pudding oreo mixture found in those dirt cup recipes. On the top we sprinkled a powdered sugar 2/3 to 1/3 cocoa mix to make the brownish dirt and a few packets of raw sugar. Then used green sprinkles to make a field. Then we took large marshmallows. Cut off the top third and cut into squares for bases using clean kitchen shears. We then put a foam pennant in the color of his school team.

The keys to making this easy were to not fill the bowls up too much, and we cut a field type stencil to make it easier to lay out the field each time. Believe it or not it took about 2 hours to make 16.
