I thought this incident was HILARIOUS! It was featured on the news around here for weeks and on ESPN for a while which is insane. Players fack getting hit all the time but when Jeter does it it becomes such a headline! That is only proof of how classy and how respected Jeter is because people never expected him to something like that.

Exactly!!! And the Yankees won plenty of championships BEFORE they started spending too and that is actually why they have that money to spend now. The money is a result of success before and after salaries went sky high.
