Base ticket if HS is closed to capacity?

We are going Sept 18-22 with base tickets staying POFQ. The trip was booked before the opening date was announced. We are fully planning on taking advantage of the EEMH at HS. If we leave and come back but it’s closed to capacity, are we just out of luck until it opens up or do our tickets essentially become a “hopper” for that one day and we are allowed to go to a different park?

if you bought your park tickets with the park hopper option you will be able to go elsewhere if not then you can only go to the park that you visited same day. By being an onsite guest you will be able to enter the park until it hits the last phase of closure. So you'll be able to get in even if the park hits Phase 3
