Hello Everyone!!
6 day dance:banana::banana:
On one of our up coming days at WDW we have an early dinner reservation 4:00 and are looking for a bar/lounge to get a drink and a snack later in the night. Has any one been to the Tamu at the Poly latley? Do they still serve food?? Any other suggestions??

Thanks,
Heidi

DH and I always stop and have a adult beverage here and people watch. I don"t remember seeing a bar menu the last couple of times.

Over at the Boardwalk, you could try ESPN - great appetizers, and the Brewing company is also over there. At DTD there are lots of choice, the Bar at Rain Forest is fun, PH bar okay but very crowded. Both have a large appetizer that you can share. There is a Tequila bar, we have not yet check this out, but there always seems to be a crowd.

At Epcot there are a lot of options, These are DH and I favorite spots.

France - go to the pastry shop, grab a ham and cheese croissant, and a couple of treats, There is a Kiosk in front of Chef's that sell adult beverages find a bench and enjoy, We sometimes sit around the fountain.
England - DH grabs a couple of Bass or Stella and I go get a basket of Fish & Chips to share, It is the same as they serve inside the rose and crown. There is a little area off to the side with tables and Chairs on the lagoon to sit.
Germany - you can grab a beer and big hot pretzels. I think that there are more eats offered, but not sure.

Most bars in the resorts probably serve food if you ask. I have not eaten at Tambu but have at many of the other bars. Just ask them if they have a bar menu - you may be surprised. Hope it works out. If not you can always hop on the Monorail and stop at Mizners at the GF - they have one. Or even the Ca Grill - ask if they have room at the bar or the Sushi counter :)

Don't know what the food situation is at MK resorts later in the evening, but I can tell you about some of the Epcot resorts.

You can order food from a limited (but very good) menu at Crew's cup at the YC until midnight.

Swan has Il Mulino bar, with food, and Kimonos (sushi).

Dolphin has bar at Blue Zoo which has great food.

Tambu serves food until 10 PM, limited menu of appetizers. There is also the sushi bar at Kona.

In the MK area, I like the bars at the Wave and the Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge for food.

In addition to some of the others mentioned in this thread, I love the Sanaa lounge and the Cape Town Lounge (inside Jiko) at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. At the Dolphin, the Bluezoo lounge and the Cabana Bar are also outstanding.

If you go to the Boardwalk and the ESPN Club until 11:30 PM you can order any of their Entree/Main Course items. You also have until 12:30 AM to order any of their Appetizers/Starter items.

Plus at 10:00 PM assuming there is no major sporting event which causes a lot of their tables to still be taken, the host at the front entrance says you can sit where you want. So you can choose to sit a a table, high top table, both or the bar.

We really enjoy the Crew Cup Lounge over at Yacht/Beach. It's normally pretty quiet in there.

It's one of our favorite spots!

I was looking at the menu on AllEars and it says that the menu here is "Very Seasonal". Does this mean that there may not be food on the "off season"? Or is there always food, just limited choices? Thanks!

There's always food at the Crew's Cup. I think when they say "Very Seasonal", they're trying to advise that the menu changes often and menus posted on their website may not reflect what's current. I know we were at the Crew's Cup in the dead of January and even then patrons at the bar were able to order food. In fact, the woman sitting next to me ordered something from the Yachtsman's menu.

The Tune in Lounge at 50's Prime Time in DHS, you can order anythng off the menu at the full service bar.
I believe the bar in WL has a bar menu also.

The new Tequilla bar inside mexico pavillion has a small food menu and huge tequilla menu, it's nice.

If you want to go over to DTD, two of our faves for drinks and appetizers/snacks are Planet Hollywood and Raglan Road.

Tambu has a small menu (wings are good!) and we go down to Capt Cooks and get food to bring up. You can do this at any resort lounge. Most CS are close to the lounge. Crews Cup is one of our favs. Apps and dinner available. Tune in if you can get a seat. DTD is the best! T-Rx, RFC, Paradiso and Portobello. Haven't been to Raglan Road but we will be trying it in Oct!
Depending on where you are staying and where you decide to go a cab might be the easiest way to get back.

Mulino is a nice upscale choice. We also enjoy a drink and snack on the patio at Raglan. Great place to people watch. Also...House of Blues (DTD) has some great appies.
We are gonna try the Cabana bar at Dolphin for the first time this year, for drinks and snacks. Anyone have some input for us.

We have done both of these as well. Both are great places to get a drink and a bite to eat without having to make an ADR!

I love the Cabana Bar. The flatbreads and salads are good. A couple of the sandwiches on the menu are awesome. When we stayed at the Boardwalk last year, my partner and I walked over there for lunch. He ordered their Cuban "cheese steak" and I had the grilled chicken BLT. We traded half of our sandwiches to each other and neither of us could decide which we liked more.

For drinks, they have some decent beers and of course a full bar, but stay away from the daiquiris. They're generic frozen mixes that don't really taste like anything other than cold.

Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge boasts its own unique offerings: excellent pulled pork appetizers. You can make a meal out of them.

The Bars at The Swan, the Dolphin (The Blue Zoo), Beach Club and Yacht club all have appetisers

Territory Lounge at WL has a bar menu. I know there are wings on it because DH and son got them while watching Monday night football. I believe you may also get menu items from Artist Pointe there.

Territory's menu is a little limited, but still pretty good. I think ordering off of the AP menu is hit-or-miss there; it may depend on how busy they are. TouringPlans just did an in-depth review:

The Wave's bar serves the full menu. It's one of my go-to spots on solo travel, as is the Tune-In Lounge, for this reason. I'm thinking of trying the bar at California Grill next time.
