Bars at the monorail resorts

What time do the bars or lounges open at the monorail resorts? Are they open in the afternoon? Thanks!!

The Tambu lounge at the Poly is listed on All Ears as opening at 5:00. Has that changed? I was wondering about the Territory Lounge at the WL, or the bar at the GF or the CR. Does anyone know what times they open if it is before noon? Thanks!

I do not recall exactly the time it does open (I think 5), but I do know that the one at the GF was not open at 3 in the afternoon last time I was there.
You had to go to the pool bar.

I had the same problem at the CR.

The bar at the Poly was open.

So if you were planning a mid afternoon drink at each monorail hotel (like I was) I don’t think it is an option.

That's what I thought, but not in October last year.
It could depend on the time of year, but you would think it would always be open in a hotel that has a lot of conventions.

It would depend on how the bar is situated as compared to the restaurants near them.

for instance, Mizners at the Grand Flordian kinda opens at 4 or so when people start arriving at Citricos and V&A's next door. The same is True for Territory Lounge/ Artist's Point and at Ohana in the Poly.

Remember that even if the inside bars are not open, that the pool bars are between 11-12 each day...unless the weather is horrid.

And since that is rarely the case...there is somewhere starting around noon at every MK area location where you can find the sauce.

The Outer Rim opens at 4:30 daily, but The Wave bar is open all day. (friend's son works there) or the pool bar.
I have always been able to get drinks at Tambu (Poly) at lunchtime or early afternoon. GF not until later, 4 or 4:30, have to go to pool bar.

I will keep that in mind for my next visit - Start at the CR at 4:30.

Yes, that is what we wanted to do. Visit the bars in the afternoon, just to try out a few of their drinks!!! I guess we'll spend a little more time at the MK and then do the bar hopping. Thanks everyone!!

There is also the bar at the California Grill, however getting up there depends on how busy they are with guests who have confirmed ADR's.

I wonder if The Outer Rim changed it's hours after The Wave opened. (to get more folks looking at the resturant, perhaps...)

Or maybe the hours changed when it moved.

Ahh well, who knows... Room service delivers pitchers of bloody mary's.
