For those of you who are doing Barry's Thrill Ride Tour on Thurs. the 29th and ending up at our ERT of ToT......AND......planning on doing SideShowBob's DATW II Meet on Fri. the 30th~~~when are you doing the Fantasmic Dessert Party?

Methinks SSB will be on Thursday... hehe

(all due repect to the thrill riders, but SSB can't miss his own deal... HAHA)

:D :D :D

 Hi SSB.

Thanks for coming over here. :)

The question still remains for others who have signed up for the Fantasmic Dessert Party on the 30 (stating that they would be doing the Thrill Ride Tour on the 29th) AND have signed up for your DATW II on the 30th.

To name a few: PatrickIL, Jaypd, RayShaprton, and disneycub.

Ahhhhh, this very well could be the second casualty (the first being TLK not wanting to have breakfast with us at Boma's on the Dec. 3rd--his birthday! :( :( :( ), of our DIS-Con Commando-style planning.

Now Tia, don't get all wigged out just yet..... :p

This is my plan thus far:

Thursday Thrill Ride Tour with Barry, followed by 2 hours of Tower of Terror riding

Friday Fantasmic Dessert Party from 6:30-8:00pm. Get in my little rental car with whoever wants to ride with me, and join SSB and his crew wherever they may be.

It looks real easy on paper. Execution may be a different story. :D

I figured that after the Fantasmic Dessert Party we could meet up with the DATW partyers at a designated spot. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the kids (I don't think DH would like missing the DATW party).

now I am very confused:confused: I am going alone and will mess this all up! I need to hire a co-ordinator to tell me where to go

I'm doing the same thing as Steve. We had already discussed meeting up with the DATW group after Fantasmic. Sure, we'll miss a few countries, but hey, we can only do so much in a short time. I'm pretty sure there are a few of us that said that's what we'd do. :)
Patrick, why are you confused? What can we do to help? Let us know and we'll try our hardest to straighten you, er, um, IT out. ;):p :p BTW, you think you're confused now, wait until the mini meet list comes out!!! :confused:

Patrick IL,
Wow !!!!....I can't believe no one took the bait!!!!!
I need to hire a co-ordinator to tell me where to go
!

I am so proud of us on the DIS Con Board!!!
I can't help but think that on the CB someone would have replied to that:rolleyes: !!

Corinne

LOL smee....I wanted to jump all over that one...but then I remembered this wasn't the CB. :D :D :D ((oh, I hope my friend, Dan Murphy doesn't see this! ))

And okay, okay.....so I'm not as  as I thought I was......I wasn't sure if and/or how I (we) was (were) going to get from MGM to EPCOT after 10:00PM.....And now that I remember the confusion, er, um, I mean plan :D I think I'll go back to the hotel with my family and get some zzzzzzzz's.

Y'all have fun now, ya hear!

It can be very congested leaving MGM after fantasmic. There are hordes of people. Driving may be you best bet, and suggest you head for the boardwalk and enter through the international gateway. The only problem may be the timing of all this. Epcot closes at 9:30 PM during the holidays..not sure if we would be able to get from MGM to Epcot and still have time for a drink! Another suggestion may be to have the Epcot group begin in Mexico, so by the time the others catch up later in the evening you may be somewhere around France or England..which is closer to the inernational gateway. Of course, you could also extend the party ouside of Epcot and begin your journey around the boardwalk, beginning at the ESPN club! Oh, so many choices and so little time!! The problem is, each event sounds like a great time...think cloning will be avaialble by the time the DIS CON rolls around?

The dessert party is scheduled for 6:30 -8:00, but I don't think that includes Fantasmic. If it starts at 8:00, it will be close to 9:00 before everyone is out of MGM and over to Epcot.

The DATW is scheduled to begin at the United Kingdom and go clockwise...eventually ending at France - where the first DATW participants turned up their noses at both French beer and the mere suggestion of drinking WINE!

This is one of those "too much to do...not enough time" situations.

Nancy, are you sure about the times??? I never thought about that way. I pictured us eating desserts while we watched the show! I've never done Fantasmic at WDW....always at Disneyland though! :D If these times are correct, I really think it would be best to meet up with the DATW II crowd outside of EPCOT....and the Boardwalk would be a great suggestion! :) ((but I'm not going, so I'll just be quiet now! ;) ))

PatrickIL, you haven't missed anything...yet...LOL :D

I checked my MGM park map from the week after Thanksgiving 2000. You're probably right, Tia. Fantasmic was at 7:00 weeknights last year, so the 6:30-8:00 dessert party most likely WILL include all of the Fantasmic viewing. That makes sense, because the TOT vomit-fest is from 8:00-10:00 afterwards on Thursday night.

Carry on with your normally scheduled programming!

Nah.....those are tame compared to some rides I've been on.

Ever wonder why the Hulk coaster is painted green? I mean besides the obvious....
