Barry Manilow - please retire!

He is on the Rachael Ray show. I used to like him, a million years ago.

But, he just totally destroyed a Frankie Valli song - we just saw Jersey Boys on Sunday - Barry killed "Can't Take my Eyes off of You".

I'm a fan of his and I really WANT to like everything he does, but lately I just don't. I'm not going to win any friends by saying this, but its like he's just resigned himself to being an old fart and he just doesn't do it very well.

It's been a few years since he released "Mayflower" which was all his own original music and it was quite good. I so wish he would continue that - he is certainly capable. He's a great musician. But this cover stuff must be what is selling for him.

I'm a little scared of Cookie coming after me here , but I don't know....I've just been disappointed lately.

I have also been disappointed in his latest exploits. He needs to lay off the plastic surgery.
