Barnes and Noble code for Nook

I went to Barnes and Noble to get the codes for the free ebooks they are giving codes out for 5 weeks. I have the codes for week 2, 3, and 4. I missed the first week. Does anyone have a code for the first week? I have an extra code for week 4 I can trade or give out.

I just bought my nook a few days ago, so I only got the code for Home Safe.

So far I'm loving my Nook.

The new code comes out today so if you bring your nook into the store you can get week 5! I also found out another cool thing, If you go into shop, then search and type in 0.00, all the free books will come up for you to download. There are over 95,000 of them.

Awesome! I did not know that. And you can only download them at the actual Barnes and Noble store through their network, right?

I did know you can read any e-book free for one hour in the store.

But who can read an entire book in an hour unless it's really short? I read very fast, but I don't think even I could manage that.

You can download on your nook through the 3G network that it hooks up to. You can download in your house. The code has to be downloaded on from their website. The ones I searched with the 0.00 can be done from your house. In the Barnes and noble stores you can read for 1 hour for free, but if you go in the next day you can pick up right where you left off. I just got the Nook yesterday for my birthday!!!! I went to the store today to get a cover for it and got the code for week 5. I got the codes for the first 4 weeks in with my Nook, so OP, I will email you the code for the first week

And I was reading about the "Lend me" optino...I'm all for setting up a thread, or using this one, so we can lend each other books....

I love that idea of a thread for lending books!! I just borrowed one from my library to see how that worked and it was so easy. Have you tried that yet? If not, I can help you!

ooh, I didn't know about the library thing! Do all libraries offer that?

Not all libraries.

There are libraries that offer non-resident cards for a small fee though. Free library of Philadelphia is one - $15 a year

You can call your library though or go to their website and find out. I was shocked that mine had it.

I have codes 1-5 if anyone needs them just let me know. I don't have the code for book 5 tho.

I like that you can go to the B&N store and read, no most people can't read a whole book in an hour BUT if you're close enough you can go to the B&N store on your lunch and read a book there for free.

I love my Nook!!!!! DBF gave it to me for my bday just a couple weeks ago, I'm downloading all kinds of fun (and free) books for our trip.
