For those of you on a tight budget or those who love a great bargain, World of Disney and Mickeys Mart in Downtown Disney are the places to go!
World of Disney (50,000 sq ft of shopping) My family and I wait until the end of trip to head over and purchase the standard items we have seen throughout the theme parks or at Disney resorts. By showing your AAA Diamond card (received when you book through AAA), you receive 10% off your entire purchase of $50.00 or more. For those of us who like to shop and know Disney prices, 10% goes a long way!
Mickeys Mart is a small store that sells all items $10.00 and under (a great value), surprise grab bags and a special of the week. This is a great place to purchase souvenirs for family members, friends, neighbors who are taking care of your pets or for kids who have brought their own spending money! This is a hit or miss shop, the last time we went we were able to purchase 4 Mickey mugs for $10.00!
