Though I just spent a while pricing out my "wish list" on used half.com books vs the used amazon.com books and they came out to a huge difference of one cent. A whole savings of five cents when I pared the list down a bit.

I usually look for free shipping. Be careful as the shipping charges can get high on some sites.

And also I have been known to check out the discard pile in the library (sometimes newer paperbacks are there/in the donate pile)

Our library has a wonderful section where they sell books that people have brought in. You can usually get them for a really good price. They have both paperback and hard back books. Also we have a couple of used bookstores in town. I take in a stack of books that I don't want to keep and get credit and then buy what I want. That works pretty well for me.

Hmmm...there was a pastor named Preston Bailey at the church I attended before my current church.

I wonder if he chose to join a monestary and work with flower arranging?

That would, of course, make him the florist friar
