Does anyone know ANYTHING about this place? Just saw it on Skyauction.

All I know of it is where it is at. It is next to Old Town but behind the Days Inn Suites so you cannot see it from the street. From the outside it didn't look too bad. :sunny:

I have done a quick tour of this place, it is small, the units are small and there are not alot of activities, but it's close to Old Town. The staff was friendly and pleasant. It has a very tropical feel and a small pool. Everything was clean and in good cosmetic repair. There are certainly more luxurious timeshares and there are definately timeshares that are worse than this. it's mediocre and middle of the road,, not the best, not the worst.

We've stayed in many timeshares in the Disney area and this one, while nothing major bad, was not our favorite or even in the top 10. Here's some info and my opinions. We did not like the Old Town area at all. That being said, the units themselves were very clean and we thought they were actually pretty spacious. We had a 2 bedroom unit, that was actually 2 separate units. This would not have worked well if you were a family with small children as they would have been like in their own aprartment. We were traveling with my adult cousin so she took the upstairs unit and it was very much like she had her own place. Both units had their own W/D too. This would be a great place if you had 2 families of 2-4 each traveling together as each unit had a master bedroom with a queen or king size bed, plus a sleeper sofa. You could have very easily put 2 families of 4 in thier own unit and been great. We thought the place was clean and well equipped in the unit, but not plush at all. The biggest problem was the location for us. We've stayed in many places that were closer to Disney (this took us a good 15 mins) and we again, just didn't like Old Town at all. We also liked the pool, but it was pretty small. Because the whole resort is very small we were a short walk to the pool area. About mid-week they had nice cookout by the pool with hamburgers/hotdogs and other treats as well. We don't have trouble getting our favs (Silver Lake, Orange Lake, Vistana) so unless I got some really great deal or simply could not find any of our favs I would just not go back here, even though when I re-read my post I've not given any real negatives  . Hopefully some of this will help.

Lisa-

Thanks so much for your reply- exactly the info I was looking for! We are not big fans of Old Town ourselves (never again! dingy, dirty, etc) but as long as the resort itself is clean, and the units are clean, not run down or shabby, etc., we will be fine. I am traveling with a 9 and a 10 year old girls, one of whom has never been to FL before, so I expect we will stay pretty busy in the parks. We usually look for villas/suites for the extra space and the refrigerator- never for "resort amenities". If you have any more specific info to pass on, either post or pm me here. This is a skyauction that closes on 5/30. Thanks again!

We stayed there last winter. I agreee totally with tiger fan. We got the week really cheap ( like 200.00) so I can not complain. I would not feel very secure if I was traveling alone, lots of noise and cars from Old town on week end nights.
