Has anyone tried this make up?

How did you like it, and would you recommend it to others???

TIA........

I've been using it (Bare Escentuals version of Bare Minerals) for years - maybe 10 years - I know I've been shopping at the store that long. They had a store near me when I lived in San Francisco. It really provides great coverage. It even covered up my rosacea before I had it removed by laser.

I don't think I could ever go back to the liquid stuff again. It feels like I'm putting grease or paint on my face after using the Bare Escentuals.

I've used it for years also. Love it!

I have (what I consider to be) mild rosacea- and as I've never worn makeup other than the goofing around that I did as a teen, I was wondering also if it was hard to learn to use.

We'll be in NYC next weekend, and Bare Escentuals has opened a boutique on 3rd Ave (in April). I'm not even sure what shades would be best on me.

Anyway, I've been thinking of stopping by and talking to one of the consultants- to try to get a feel for the degree of difficulty in using it. I don't want to use liquid make up. My skin would probably end up much worse than it currently is.

Should I take the plunge and look around (and ask for advice)?

Thanks!!

i've been using it for over a year now and I love it. I keep meaning to get to the boutique in town, but I'm afraid of spending too much $$$$.

I'm hoping the botique in Orland will be open when I'm there in September. I'll want help in color selection....that's why I've been afraid to buy one line or through QVC/HSN.

There was a thread on this no very long ago.....almost all RAVE REVIEWS!

At least with QVC/HSN it could be returned with no problems within 30 days.

I taped the 6 hours on QVC from last week, and it almost looked like anyone could use the blush shades. I'm worried about the foundation.

Are they opening one in Orlando??? That would be great news too!!!

I found it pretty easy to use. I'm like you though - I like to go see it in person. The lightest shade (1) is a little too light for me. The next shade (2) is too yellow. The third shade can be a little dark so sometimes I mix 1 and 3. In the stores they sell a 2.5 which is half way between 2 and 3.

I would definitely go to a store and let them assist you.

I didn't know they were getting one in Orlando. I think that's good news but maybe not for my budget!

I love the eyeshadows too. It goes on very subtle. and it lasts FOREVER. Don't forget the mineral veil too. It makes a nice finishing touch.
