Which do you prefer - Bare Escentuals mineral makeup or Philosophy mineral makeup?

I personally LOVE Bare Escentuals. It is the only makeup I use now. I buy a majority of mine from QVC, but buy from Ulta on occassion as well. When applying the eyeshadow, I love the way the colors blend together. I really think that my complexion became better when I switched to their foundation.

I have found that if you are looking to get started or want to try some of their different products, QVC is great. If you are looking for a specific item and only want that item, Sephora is the way to go.

I have been using Bare Escentuals for about five years now and have never found anything I like better. I have not tried Philosophy tho. BE has made a difference in my skin. My skin is pretty good but I would have a small breakout on my chin once a month. After using BE I think I get a blemish maybe twice a year. I love it.

I really like the BE. The only thing I don;t like is that the makeup can be hard to travel with. The powders can spill out if you don't tape them well. I usually buy from Sephora but will also buy from QVC if I like the deal,.

Love, love Bare Minerals. But I do love Purity Made Simple cleanser from Philosophy. In my opinion, there is nothing better.

I would suggest a starter kit for someone who's never used it.

Also, I like to buy from Beauty.com, especially when I can get a discount and free shipping.

Neither. They both have Bismuth Oxide which irritates my skin. I love Everyday Minerals and its TONS cheaper!!!! everydayminerals dot com

philosophy is not so messy.I use both. I like the face soap purity and I use the supernatural.

I use Bare Escensuals makeup and Philosophy skin care products. Bare Escensuals skin care products contain gluten which makes my skin burn. Philosophy is the first skin care line I've ever tried besides plain old Ivory soap that doesn't make my skin burn and makes it smooth and healthy.

Philosophy's colors are too light, and Bare Escentuals doesn't make a satisfactory dark shade for someone with cool undertones like me.

I like Pur Minerals which is a bit more hydrating than BE for me. I get it at Ulta.
