Barbie at Epcot?

Do any of your remember a show that a "live" Barbie did at Epcot, maybe in 1994, maybe onstage at the American Gardens Theater?

You are correct, TapCat. Barbie was at Epcot's American Adventure theater for a very short time (some would say, 'thankfully'!).

I remember Barbie riding through parts of World Showcase in a pink convertible in 1994 and/or 1995. We have a picture of my then 4 or 5 YO daughter with Barbie. I don't recall if there was a live show though.

Oh Yes!!

We saw the Barbie Show at the World Showcase in April of 1994. Later that year, I went to my 10yr HS reunion, and found out a classmate drove the Limo for Barbie - he was a "Ken" lookalike!

All I remember, is that my husband and I thought it was so silly, but for some reason, my father in law really liked it!

I loved that show-I was nearly too old, but I still liked it. I got to start the show one day, and felt like an idiot because I had to wish on a doll that she would come to life or something like that...and I was way too old for that part. But I definitely remember the pink limo. I got autographs and pictures too!

All I can remember is that my then 6 year old daughter would NOT leave Epcot until we saw the Barbie show. All she talked about for MONTHS afterwards was wanting a pink Barbie convertible. Thankfully, Santa brought her one that year.

The Barbie Show!!Now that brings back memories. When my daughter was 8 in 94, we had to RACE down to the American Showcase theater to be first in line to get Barbie and Kens autograph. Barbie told me on the QT she was working a summer internship at Disney and playing Barbie was part of the program. She was a very cute girl. I have a lovely video of the show and we still have the autographs from that show. I thought the show was very cute, so cute in fact my daughter made me sit through it twice!

It was for Barbie's birthday and there was a video you could get with a Barbie purchase. The video had some (very excited) little girls who were "reporting" from the different countries in Epcot. The video had part of the show.
Barbie and Ken left each show by driving away in the pink Barbie car. The drove to an autograph area nearby where they had labeled director's chairs for each main character.

i hate barbie but i just found it funny that disney made a show about barbie
and according to that link they had the expected throw a shrimp on the barbie joke
i could just imagine that someone throwing shrimp at her and she got mad
it's just something barbie wouldn't do
i think... (i think my sisters stisll like barbie)
