Hey Girl -- really enjoying reading your TR. I check up on it everyday. I just don't know how you have the time to respond to everyones coments - you must have the patience of a saint as well! I can't wait to do the Beverly trick on DH and probably even DS5 on our next trip. But where is it? I don't think I've seen it anywhere before, or just wasn't looking! Anyway, keep em coming! I am 19, but I started school early, so I am a sophomore in college. So, we're about the same age! You're proof positive Disney can be magical for everyone ...can't wait for more!

Well, I finally browsed your thread and am totally loving it. You crack me up.

BTW, had my hubby forgot his ticket at any park, I would not have gone back to the resort with him. I would have went in the park and started having a bit of fun, meeting up with him later. But then, again, we've been married 10½ years and can get away with this!

I'm with you DawnMaree... He'd have been the one out of luck-- I'd have been the one having fun!

I did the half throttle on mission space, and can honestly say that is a ride that I will NEVER NEVER go on again! BLEH! the beginning wasn't so bad (lift off was kinda cool) but the whole middle and end was yukky. my 9 year old was with me and he was asking me when it was going to be over!!
Blayne, you have a knack for writing. I'm eagerly awaiting your next installment! you're my "take me away" moment lately. THANKS!

Tough luck on the Mission Space. I rode it but I think it was the non-spinning version. Like that, not sure I ever really need to spin.

Your trip is making me so jealous--one park day in and I'm already feigning for my own trip. ((((Which, is like, a year away.)))) Thank goodness I have you to live through for the next little while.

I nearly pee'd in my pants when I saw the picture of Todd and the Beverly. Where is it again? I've not seen that anywhere. Must go by there just to find out what the hype (or not so hype) is about it.

I knew you would love off kilter! I will try to burn you copies of their cds one day. I hated mission space too. I went on it when it first opened before anyone died and my head hurt and i was sick to my stomach all day. I have NEVER gone on it again. It sounds like you had a good Valentines Day once todd got his ticket lol

I also left out a little story about what happened after DisneyQuest. Well, I told everyone how we were MORE THEN A LITTLE tired, since we had been up since 2:30 that morning. On the way back to the Pop Century bus, we were walking through Downtown Disney and I could have SWORN that I saw Cinderella2004 (I will not disclose real names in order to respect here privacy! ) I could have sworn that walking towards me was Cinderella2004, her DH and her daughter. In fact I was so positive that as the woman neared me, I leaned over and went - "PSSSSSSTTTTT"!! When she continued to make her way by me with not so much as a glance, I got a little more aggressive and leaned over and tapped her whispering "PSSSSSSSTTT!! HEY!!" with this maniacal grin on my face. I was very excited. I HAD SPOTTED A FRIEND. Ya, well I was wrong. Completely and utterly wrong. This woman turned to be with a confused look on her face and said "HULLO." in a Britist accent. Nope it was NOT Cinderella2004. Well I was extremely embarassed and so was Todd who wasn't even sure what I had been doing to the poor woman in the first place. I quickly said a blushing apology and scurried away. Todd and I were in peels of laughter all the way to the bus stop! Oh man, it was VERY funny!! Although, I was bummed that I didn't get to REALLY see Cinderella2004 - Hi Cinderella2004!!

I'm jumping in here, because I did meet Cinderella2004!

Our families sat next to each other at 1900 Park Fare for dinner and she graciously accepted the fact my 2-year-old wouldn't stay on her side of the booth.

Great trip report so far...going back to reading now.

Blayne I must tell you that I heeded your advice before you gave it and rode the Green side on MS. It was fun enough and easier on the stomach. But I learned later in the week that the most tamest of rides can give you motion-sickness. I got sick on CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS!!!! After we got off everything was spinning. I sat for a minute and then we tried to walk out of the park. We tried to walk past Spectromagic and this made me feel worse. When we finally got out of the park, I had to close my eyes on the Monorail to keep from getting sick. But by the time we got back to POR I felt fine.

Yay...i'm done reading...after like an hour of reading but anyways... i started reading because it was your first trip and seeing it thru ur new eyes has been great so far! I giggled when u were talking about doing your hair- i call it "Disney Hair" because for some reason hair just never some out right there...i spent most days in a hat! Hi Blayne - I have been lurking on your trip report for a while and had to say I am loving your report. You write so well! And you have convinced me *not* to ride MS on the spinning side. I now have to decide whether I can even do the non spinning side! Sorry to hear it made you sick, but you did come good, so that is the main thing.

Yeah MS is ruff but I have noticed if you keep your eyes dead center and don't look off to the sides it makes you less sick. I even noticed that I felt a little weird last time I rode it. Of course I will get on it again because I am a glutton for punishment. I thought that the G force was stronger when I rode it this January then the other times I have ridden it. But who knows.

So sorry that MS made you ill - but glad you had a great day otherwise! I didn't care for MS, but I haven't been on it since they gave you the "mild" option. DH and I may try it in June, I'll have to see!

I love reading this trip report. It's so exciting to read a first timers report. I'm going back to the World for the zillionth time. (Florida gal) been going since I was born, I still find something new everytime I go, the girls at work always say you're going back to Disney again, aren't you tired of it? NEVER!! As for the Beverly, I'm the one that got the prank pulled on. My sister and her boyfriend at the time went inside while I went to the restroom, when I came back they told me it was so good and I had to try it, boy did they get one over on me, wish I had a pic of that. This trip is my fiance's first trip lets see if I can get one over on him. I can't wait to read more!

Oh i just love this trip report!!! I discovered it today and have been glued to my computer screen TOTALLY ignoring my load of homework!! How fun to get to go on this trip right before you graduate! I went with my mom last summer after my h.s. graduation.... it was a blast! Looks like you two had an AMAZING time, keep the report comin!!!!
