Barbershop Aftermaths at WDW??

Okay a dear friend of mine just suggested we get our son's 1st haircut at the WDW Barbershop in December. I think it is an awesome idea. She also mentioned they do colored hair gel and glitter.

I would love to see any pictures you might have of a first haircut, any other haircut or any WDW colored hair gel and glitter. Would love to see pics from inside the barbershop or outside around the park afterward with the gel.

I would never do it. Only because the little hairs left over really bother me. you know, the ones that poke at you under your shirt collar? Being itchy is no way to spend a long day at a park.

I always shower asap after a cut. If they do a wash after that would probably be fine.

My son had his first haircut at Magic Kingdom... and boy, did he need it! He was 21 months old at that point. We skipped the gel and glitter though.

It was New Year's Day and Christmas decorations were still up in the shop.

Here's how he looked afterwards:

He got a "first haircut" ears hat and a little certificate with a lock of hair. They were good and he seemed to enjoy it - the steady stream of Mickey stickers certainly didn't hurt! There was a little bit of a line, and I think there usually is, so make sure you set aside a little bit of time for that.
