barbeque grills

After 13 years of trips we are finally planning on using the barbeque on our next DVC trip. We will be staying at both BLT and BWV and plan on using grills at both resorts. I have a few questions regarding this amenity.

I believe the grills are fairly close to the pools. Are they close enough that the kids will be able to swim while I am grilling? Is there ever a line at these units or are they open at most times? I read somewhere along the way that the community halls have grilling tools available. What is the quality/cleanliness of these? Should I bring my own? What is the procedure, if any, to leave the grill? Do I need to douse the coals or remove the ash?

Any other information or advice would be appreciated.

You could easily grill by the quiet pool at BWV, just remember seeing it there. Sorry I cannot answer any of the other questions.

I don't know if there are any specific instructions, anywhere.... but when we stayed at THV last year, we got up the morning following our "cookout," prepared to clean out the grill, and a castmember had already been there and cleaned it, spotless.

We were totally surprised - had no idea they would be doing this.
