Just to make sure am doing this correctly.... I planning trip October 8 2018. My UY is June. When I book reservation on November 8 2017 I will be able to bank my 2017 points into 2018 or do I have to borrow from 2018 to 2017 to make reservation? I always get confused TIA

You'll need to bank your points before you make the reservation. You can borrow points during the reservation process.
