Banking transfered points

Can I bank transfered points , do they still have to be within the banking window. I was told it does not matter that I can still bank after the 7 month window. I have to cancel the trip and now want to bank the points I transfered fro my other contract. Trans points are mar. Use year. I need to cancel now for jan. 22 trip so can I bank the mar. Points or will I loose them at the end of feb. Thanks

Generally the same rules apply as for regular points as far as banking goes.

If they are march points then they needed to be banked by 10/31/13 (4 months before they expire).

Of course if never hurt to try

I think transferred points abide by their original rules, so they would have had to have been banked by now. You can always call MS and see if they will make an exception.

As the others stated if you bank transferred points they retain their UY and those rules apply.

II.6.d. Once Banked, Transferred Home Resort Vacation Points will expire at the end of the Transferring Club Member’s next Use Year, unless they are used. In addition, Transferred Home Resort Vacation Points cannot be un-Banked or returned to their original Use Year.
