Is there a limit on how many points can be banked?

You can bank any or all of your use year points as long as you do it by the end of the eighth month of the use year. You can do that all at once or in multiple banking transactions. Points once banked must be used in the use year into which they have been banked and cannot be brought back to original use year or banked a second time into a third use year.

As was said above, you bascially can bank one year's worth of points, namely those of the current year. There used to be a sliding scale with lesser percetages bankable as your use year progressed, but now you can bank 100% of your current use year's points as long as it is during the first 8 months of your current use year. No banking in the last 4 months of your use year.
