This past year has been such a mess! To summarize I transferred 59 points from a March Use Year contract to an August UY Contract. With reservations having been canceled and trying to reschedule, I've ended up with those March UY points unused. They will expire on Feb. 28, 2022. My question is whether I can: 1) bank those points into the March 2022 UY, even if staying in the August UY Contract; or 2) can I transfer 59 points back to the March UY?

I'd call Member Services, but it is almost impossible to get through. Yesterday, every time I called the recorded message just said to call back and hung up on me.

In general, transferred points can still be banked. I thought one can only transfer points only once per UY (in or out), so I doubt you can transfer those points back to the original contract. I am sure others would correct me if I am wrong!

Yes, you can bank. They have been allowing owners more than one transfer when going between their own contracts...however, you can’t send back the ones you moved.

And since they are March UY points, they need to be banked by October 31, 2021 but they will stay with your August UY membership.

Try calling mid-afternoon eastern time. Not Mondays. I have had pretty good luck.
