Banking - own at multiple resorts

I know when I am in the 50% banking window I can bank 50% of my points. If I own at multiple resorts, all with the same use year, does the 50% mean 50% at each resort, or 50% total?

I mean, say I own 200 points at OKW and 100 BC points for a total of 300 points. If I am in the 50% window can a bank 150 OKW points (and 0 BC points) since 150 is 50% of the 300 total? Or can I only bank 100 OKW points and 50 BC points?

That's an interesting question....

I've never seen a specific rule on that, but since points are resort based, logic would dictate that you must follow the % banking rules for each resort.

I'm in the same type of situation as you (3 resorts, same use year) I was told that banking restrictions were based on your cummulative total. Meaning that if you own 300 pts. at 3 different resorts you are allowed to bank 150 from any combination (meaning 100 could be from one resort) at the 50% window.

We will see if this actually works because I need to bank all of my BCV points at the end of next month at my 50% window.

It is 50%, or 25% depending on where you are in you banking window, of your total. I have done this several times now when adding on points.

I think this is true only if all three resorts are on the same master contract. This would occur if you bought them all directly from Disney - they use the same "master" contract number for all purchases and add a unique supplement number (like 001, 002, etc) to distinguish the different buys/resorts.

If you bought a resale to go with your original contract (and thus have completely different contract numbers) or multiple resales, I think the banking amounts go by contract. Not sure, though.

Someone will correct me or you can call MS and ask.

So are ya'll saying that since I added on twice through Disney (200 BCV master contract, 100 BCV addon and 100 BWV addon) they view the points collectively (400 points)? So at the 50% deadline, hypothetically I could bank all of my 100 BWV points and 100 BCV points (50% of all my points)?
