Banking deadline for Dec. UY?

Can someone help pls. What is the banking deadline for a December UY? Is that ok with a Sept. vacation time frame?

Members with a December Use Year have until the following July 31 to bank their points. If you have a September reservation and cancel it after July 31 you would need to use those points by November 30 or they would expire.

For travel in September, an August or September Use Year might be better, but as long as you won't likely cancel any reservations, any Use Year would work.
