Banking, borrowing, tranferring...

Hi all, new here...

I got tired of trying to rent, so finally took the plunge and made an offer on BCV. Will post details when/if we pass ROFR. In the meantime, I keep second guessing myself about the number of points we need. Then I think I can solve future problems with banking borrowing and transferring. Hence my questions...

1. Can you bank borrowed points?

2. Can you bank points transferred in?

3. Can you transfer banked points?

4. Can you transfer borrowed points?

I'm sure this is all in the posts, but my head is spinning trying to keep it all straight. Thanks for your help!

1. Can you bank borrowed points? No borrowing points is a final transaction and cannot be reversed

2. Can you bank points transferred in? Yes they can and are supposed to retain their original resort and would have the UY of the year you transfer them to

3. Can you transfer banked points? No they may not be transferred

4. Can you transfer borrowed points? No they cannot be transferred

Took the answers from 2008-2009 vacation planner. People have reported getting once in a lifetime exceptions to these rules when extreme life changing circumstances have required them to change or cancel vacation plans ie. serious illness or death in family.
