I'm fairly new to DVC (Sept 05) so I want to make sure I know what I'm doing here with my current situation. We have 165 points. We used 96 in Nov 05, leaving a balance of 69 for 2005. We then booked a 160 point stay for April 06, borrowing 91 points from 2006 to do so. We now want to change the dates of our stay to May, which will be a lower point value stay. Will MS allow me to use the borrowed 2006 points first and then the balance of the 2005 points to apply to the new ressie, allowing me to bank any leftover 2005 points? For example, our current ressie is 160 (69 from 2005, 91 borrowed from 2006). Our new ressie would be 136. Could we apply the 91 borrowed and 45 from 2005, then banking the remaining 24 in our account? Does this make sense? :confused3

It makes perfect sense.

Yes, you should instruct MS to use the borrowed points first when you call to make the reservation change. After the change you may bank the current year points that remain in your account.

Best wishes-

I just made the changes and all went as planned. :goodvibes
