We will be going back to WDW in Jan. and I can make my 11 mo. window ressies now. Okay our UY is Oct. and we have points now that we could book for Jan. Do we go ahead and do that or do we have to bank first then make ressies for Jan. I am guessing bank first?

You should be able to do it all with one call to MS - Just tell them you want to bank the points and make the reservation using them. Have fun planning

You have to bank first so that the points become valid for your Jan '08 travel dates. Currently those are Oct '06 points, valid for travel from Oct 1, 2006 - Sep 30, 2007. Banking them makes them valid for travel from Oct 1, 2007 - Sep 30, 2008.

You can do it all in the same phone call with MS -- bank the points first, then make the reservation with the banked points.
