banking and borrowing

So if I understand this correctly. I can make a reservation at my home resort and in order to do that i will need to borrow some points. I would like to change that ressie at 7 mth window and can request they use the borrowed pts first then bank this years points is that correct

200 pts at ssr
173 pts at okw

i have 152 points now so i will have to borrow the remaining. use the 48 borrowed first then bank the remaining points

Yes, but it will likely need to be a manual adjustment, unless they cancel you existing reservation THEN book the new reservation. The problem with canceling, then booking, is that in those few seconds you could lose both reservations.
