I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, so I'll just give an example or two and hopefully that will answer your question.
Let's say you have 200 points (because the math is easier to do with that amount, LOL).
First example - Let's say that you didn't bank any points on or before May 31. After May 31, until August 31, you can bank up to 100 points (50% of your annual allotment of 200). You can choose to bank no points during that period, 1 point, 32 points, 87 points or any other amount you like as long as your "bank account" totals 100 or less.
Next example - Let's say you banked 25 points in early May. After May 31, the max you can bank is the number of points that will put your total bank account at 50% of your annual allotment. So you could bank up to 75 more points if you do it before the 50% deadline. (You could bank any number of points that totals 75 or less). If you wanted more than 100 in the bank, you would have had to bank before May 31.
Last example - Let's say that in early May you banked 125 points. After May 31, you would not be allowed to bank any more at all. That's because you already have more than 50% of your total annual allotment in the bank for that use year. Again, if you wanted to have more than 100 in the bank, you would have had to bank before May 31.
The 25% deadline works in the same manner.
