Banked Points Question

Hello All,

If I have banked points in my current use year, do I simply have to book a trip with them before the end of the use year in order not to lose them or do I have to actually take a trip using them before the end of my use year?

You must use the points within the UY they are in. For example, I have banked 2020 Dec UY points which are now in my 2021 UY. They must be used by November 30th, 2022

And does "used" mean actually going to Disney within that use year? It's been a while since I've been in this situation, so I'm a little rusty on the rules.

Yes, must be used for a stay within that UY. In my example, the last night I can use them for is November 30th.
