My ROFR for 150 point UY Oct SSR is up January 22 and I also have a 25 AKV UY Nov ROFR Feb 8. There are banked points from 2010 on both purchases. I know after ROFR it will be at least 2 weeks until I can book a reservation. I am hoping to do two trips rather quickly - 5 days first week in March and 5 days mid May. If I book both trips with the first purchase points, I still will have 25 points from the second purchase that I need to use by year end. Will they let me transfer those 25 points or should I book the second trip after the 2nd purchases goes through?

Hopefully someone understands this and can give me suggestions.

You have purchased 2 different UYs and will have 2 different memberships. You can't transfer banked points even if it would help.

Your only choice as I see it is to book each trip separately from each membership.

That 25-pt contract with a different Use Year is gonna give you headaches for the next 40 years.

Thank you both for your feedback. I thought I had everything covered but I have come to the conclusion that being in DVC is a learning experience.

I have a small 50 point contract with a different use year. No problem to manage it so far.

Just an FYI, once you pass ROFR, its more like 3 to 4 weeks before you will be in the system and able to make a reservation.

Everything is dependent on the seller and how soon they get the paperwork back. Once that is in and your contract closes, it can then take 7 - 14 days to be in the Disney system.

I just want you to be prepared because it could take longer than you are expecting.
