Banked points and Use Years

Quick question to my fellow DVC owners and experts. If one banked all of their points into the next year when do they have to use those points up by? Is it the beginning of the Use Year month or end?

For example, my Use Year is August, and for the sake of arguement and easy math lets say I have 100 points. So I have banked all of my 2005 points into 2006. Now, August, 2006 I get 100 more points. So, now my total is 200 points. Here is where my question comes in. I want to plan a trip for August 2007. If the trip takes place entirely in August, can I use my banked points for that trip? Or do I lose my banked points August 1st?

You're 2005 points banked to 2006 will expire the last day of July, 2007. For that reservation in Aug, 2007 you'd have to use 2007 points and possibly those banked from the 2006 use year. You could not use the 2005 points.

D'OH!!!! Thanks. That's what I thought, but had to confirm. Guess we'll have to move that trip up a couple of weeks.
