Bank transfer pts?

. . .So, here is my question: The first transfer would be June 2011 points which would be best done when? I would bank these points once I receive them. The second transfer would be for the June 2012 points. Since we would need to make the reservation either 7 or 11 months BEFORE June 2012, when would we need to do this transfer? What is the rule for the "one transfer per year"? Does that mean the points within one UY can only be transferred once? I am so confused!

You can do a transfer at least one UY prior to the UY from which the poitns are being transferred. For example, while in our 07 UY we received a transfer of 08 points.

Based on your situation, you will be in your 2011 UY in Feb 2011, so at that time you can receive both 2011 and 2012 points. Of course, the friend with the points may decide to do soemthing different with them over the next year and a half, which might make it difficult to plan this far out. Best of luck. -- Suzanne
