Bank Points Question

Hi everyone! A friend of mine tried to book a stay today using her banked points and MS wouldn't let her. She tried to use banked SSR points to book a stay at AKV resort. They wouldn't let her. THey said that you could only use your banked points at that banked points resort. I have never heard of anything like this. Is this something new?

If she's within 7 months of the dates she wants to travel, she should be able to use the points at any DVC resort.

If within 7 month window, just try to call back and get a different CM because what CM said was wrong unless referring to reservation being made more than 7 months out.
