my friend (also a drummer) had a shirt that said "i like to bang" and had a picture of a drum set on it, but one of his teachers made him turn it in side out.

I agree; how do you play with a plastic reed? I want one!

According to my Band director, they play just like the other. They are just double the price. The pro's are that no Bamboo taste, and they last longer than Bamboo reeds.
