Band Trip to Disney!

I went on a band trip to Disney in February. It was so fun! We were in the Magic Music Days parade at Magic Kingdom. That was a little bit of a letdown, since we were BEFORE the real parade, not really in it. But it was still really fun! The best was to experience Disney as a freshman girl is with a group of sophomore to senior guys. They will force you on all the scary rides, and then you repay them by forcing them onto "it's a small world" muahahaha. Which happened to break down while we were on it . But I actually enjoyed going on the "scary" rides. I had never been on a coaster before and they forced me on to Rock'N Roller Coaster the first day. Quite an experience...but so fun! The rest of the trip I kept bugging them to go on all the Disney roller coasters. (Space Mountain! So Cool!)

Going to Disney with band is SOOO much fun! we went last year and marched down main street too! hehe...

We did that this year! it was a blast! we went to TL the first day and most people got really sunburnt! that it always a blast. Then my group (of 4 girls 1 sr 3 jr and 5 guys all sr) went to MK there were 2 performances that day one with the orch. and the other we marched down main street. That was a blast. It was in the night parade too! AMAZING! we were the last band in the parade. I hear the only one (most of the time) band gets to do it a month. and there was a group of us this month cause there was no night parade. Then we all went to epcot and rode space and (tried) to watch the fireworks... didnt work to well.

OOOO We also broke splash Mt. that day! opps.. dont hit anything outside the boat. Even if it looks like it wont to something it will. we stopped the ride for 20 min. while a guy came and asked us if anyone had gotten out of the boat. our bad...

The Last day that we were there we went to MGM and one of our chaps payed for all of us to eat at Mamma Melro's (sp?) it was like 250$. very nice but she didnt have to do that! we went to go see the fireworks that night to and got cold and wet form the "mist" that wouldnt stop!

Over all it was fun... except for the part about being a tourest. i think that i go there enought that i dont have to run around to get to all of the rides and/or have to look at a map ever 2 seconds! that is want i didnt like about this trip!
