Banana's will be extinct in 10 years

Has anyone else heard about this?

I went to the store yesterday and I was in the produce aisle getting some banana's and the worker made a comment to "get them while I still can"--he said that banana's will be around for another 10 years and that's it. It can't be true!!!!

Did you ask the guy at the grocery store?

He did try to explain but another customer came up who needed help so I never got the full answer--something about the conditions needed to grow banana's is becoming more and more difficult--sorry that's all he said.
