DH asked me tonight if any on-site restaurants serve Bananas Foster. Maybe something at Port Orleans??

I didn't have an answer for him.

I didnt eat it because i had one too many shrimp.... but isnt that what Ohana serves for desert?

I just checked the 'Ohana menu, and it says:

Dessert: 'Ohana bread pudding a la mode with Banana Foster sauce

He wants to have real, honest to goodness Bananas Foster, not just the sauce.

Boatwrights has this on the menu:

Bananas Foster Angel Food Cake - Served with vanilla bean ice cream. - $5.49

Don't know what it's like, but you might check it out. I haven't seen Bananas Foster anywhere else on any of the other menus, but you know those always change. I've had it at DTD Anaheim at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen -- it's pricey, about $15, but it serves two, and they flambe it right there table side. It's quite a show stopper!

We'll be hitting Disneyland in early September. I'll check out Ralph Brennen's.

Otherwise it will have to wait until our next trip to WDW.

If he wants Bananas Foster, do not miss Ralph Brennans! It is a blast. :goodvibes And several nights a week there is live music, too -- we've usually seen a jazz trio. Very cool evening...
