Just took some homemade banana bread out of the oven....... mmmmmmmmmmm

I just wish ds and I weren't allergic to walnuts.... love a little crunch in it!

Can you use crunch granola pieces in it? The flakes would probably turn mushy, but the crunchies should stay good.

All nuts or just walnuts? We use pecans in ours. Way better than walnuts! (And I do like walnuts too).

Yup I love it with Chocolate chips and my recipe calls for sour cream which just makes the bread soooo moist.

I'm glad it's not just me -- I'm allergic to walnuts too! The lack of them doesn't really bother me, but I love carrot cake, and can't ever have it when we go out to eat.
