Banana Boats Gone??

I was just perusing the shore excursions for our upcoming cruise in December, putting several on my wish list to weed out later when I noticed....

NO BANANA BOAT RIDES!!!

At least none listed and it had all of them. Does anyone have any info on this? I was sooooo looking forward to riding it while DH and I hum JAWS to our kiddos.

I noticed the same thing..... no banana boat prices. DS and DD (both teens) will be very disappointed; I think they included that in the total they figured they needed to save before sailing.
I wonder if it was just a loss of a vendor or if DCL decided not to make it available at all.

Reportedly the vendor who offered the banana boat rides on CC has stopped offering them and DCL has not replaced them. Don't know if they will be back once the Magic starts stopping there again or not. There was some speculation that business was down with the double-dip cruises compared with the Magic and that the vendor wasn't making enough to make it worthwhile.

Never got the nerve to try it. I was afraid that I would be the dope that fell off and couldn't get back on. LOL
