For those of you who have done the banana boats at CC.....have you seen any "pooh size" people doing the excursion or do you think it would be a problem??

I think you have to be 8 to do the bboat. I was bummed my almost 7 dd coudn't come. After going on the ride, which was soooo much fun, I understood why there is an age restriction. It is very hard to hold on at times, our bottoms left the boat many, many times.

I don't think she was referring to children. I don't really have an answer for you as I have not done the BB ride but I think you would have to be beyond pooh sized for their to be a problem. Let me put it like this...I have seen some "pooh sized" threads around here and from reading them it seems like there are plenty of "pooh" sized folks on board and I have never seen a thread so far that indicates that someone was not able to do the BB ride due to size.

I guess I missed the code. I don't think there would be a problem for any adult of most any size to ride. Plenty of room on each seat.

I guess I fit into the "Pooh" sized people, and I had a blast on the BBR!!! :hyper:

Will be doing the BBR again this August!!!
:hyper:

DD and I are both "Pooh size" and we had a blast on the BB ride, so much that we ended up doing it a second time.:D There were other Pooh sized folks on there with us. Like Verandah Man says "IT WAS A BLAST"!

Great! Thanks for the info!! I am having Gastric Banding done Tuesday but won't loose all that much before my cruise in 60 days!

Let me reply this way, my glasses are still laying on the bottom of the ocean at CC. Because I didn't have my glaases with me at the MCO airport, on our way home, I walked into the Ladies Restroom by mistake. Talk about being "blind as a bat without my glasses" that's me!!! LOL!!! :hyper:

OH NO :earseek:

I guess I'll be doing what Hazel was doing - lol

Even if you are Blind as a Bat it would still be fun.

It isn't the scenary that makes the trip fun it's the motion, and you can enjoy that either way.

Very true, but when you can't see past the nose on your face it can be kind of freaky - lol

aprilgail......is gastric banding same as gastric stapling or so?....I mean it is a surgery, right?....I would be more concerned that you would not be healed in 60 days. The BB rides are very rough...you can get bounced all around. If I was having any kind of internal surgery I would not go on this ride for at least 6 months to know I was fully healed inside. I know nothing of the procedure you are having done, but obviously check with your doctor before hand to make sure you are cleared to do something like the BB ride.

Enjoy your cruise with or without the BB ride!!!
