banana bay resort siesta key

Thinking of staying overnight for our Beach day here. Has anyone sayed at the Banana bay lately ? We would need accomodation for 5. Other recommendations welcome

Also is there anywhere to snorkel for amateurs where we can see some colorful fish ?

I haven't stayed at Banana Bay, so I really can't comment on the resort. I did stay at the Capri Inn in May and it was great! You would need 2 rooms though as they only sleep up to 4. The location is wonderful. Another resort in the same location is Tropical Shores and they can sleep 5....mostly good reviews on Trip Advisor and a friend in the area also recommends this resort.
