bamboo rolled fencing for privacy...anyone have this?

My next door neighbor has an 18 foot round pool and it is over 30 years old - I think he said it's from 1976 or something. (very old he works on it every year). The outside of it is definitely showing it's age so he bought this bamboo fence and wrapped it around the pool. He also put's it on the wooden fence behind him since their wooden fence is old and he does not like the way it looks. He does take them both down when he closes the pool in September. So far he plans on use it again this summer and it will be his third time.
