Bambi parking sign in IJA?

It's Eeyore, not Bambi - at least according to the Hidden Mickey book. It's supposed to be up on the platform where the film projector is in the queue - but I've never been able to spot it, even with a zoom camera.

I've never been able to see it either but I've also heard that you really need to shine a flashlight up to see it. If you ask the CM in the film room they might be able to show it to you.

I can't remember the rules about posting links...but do a Google Image search for "Eeyore", and "Indiana Jones" and you'll see some shots! :)

Thanks for the info! Glad you told me it was Eeyore cause I'd still be looking for bambi!!!:rotfl:

I have seen it. I asked the CM and they pointed at it with the big flashlight they have. It was where I was looking, behind the projector platform, but it was way bigger than I was expecting. Maybe 3 feet by 4 feet or so. Anyhow, once they showed me, I can now pickout the the outline of it without the flashlight, but it is impossible to show anyone, or to see it for the first time without the big flashlight. I tried with my little flashlight, but it was not powerfu enough.

Sometimes the CM doesn't have a flashlight, but when we were there last year once, my DD had one in her bag (ask Callie, funny story!) so the CM showed us.

I have never seen it either. I'm always walking backwards in that room trying to see it. :rotfl: But it seems like we always walk too fast through there. I guess you have to get lucky and get stopped next to a CM with a flashlight. :rotfl:

I took a small disposable flashlight with me. I had been told about Eeyore and was determined to find him. I was against the wall shining my flashlight up at the platform in the projection room. The CM asked me what I was doing, he then told me he never heard of the sign. I proceeded to tell him that I had read that we were actually in the location in the old parking lot that was the Eeyore section, and that the sign was left there for that reason. So, now he really wanted to see if it was up there. What we discovered is that for the best viewing you need to be slightly in front of the platform, against the wall and wall-la there it is. Great fun, I hope everyone gets a chance to see it. :tink:

I took a blind shot with my camera... and got it on the first try :yay:
Not a fancy camera, just a very simple Kodak digital.. slower than molasses and usually takes poor night shots.. just lucky.

Right before you leave the film room, look up and back behind the projector platform.. take quick aim with a flash and hope for the best.

Of course, best to do on a slow day.
