Bambi on DVD/Blu ray?

I can't seem to find an answer to this. At the beginning of BATB DVD, there was an ad to get Bambi on Blu ray..but Disney.com says its not available.

Yes, it's a trailer for the Bluray coming out in 2011. The insert in the B&tB bluray also says Bambi and The Lion King are BluRays coming in 2011.

Didn't last year's Pinocchio release have an insert in it announcing "Dumbo" in 2010?

the trailer for Lion King said Fall 2011, Bambi did not specify but I'm thinking probably March? They usually release a classic movie in the spring.

Yeah. And it *was* released in Europe and I think Mexico. For some reason they held it back here. Sites like Blu-ray.com have reviews and long discussions on it.

I'm pretty sure that that is what it will be.

Also, the classic "Alice in Wonderland" will get a full release, in 2011 (Disney did release a DVD-only edition earlier, this year to coincide with the live-action movie).

I also speculate that we may see the remainder of the Pixar catalog ("Finding Nemo" and "The Incredibles"), along with "Cars 2" for 2011 Blu-ray releases.

The gang at Blu-ray.com is very much into Disney movies, as they tend to be (technically-speaking) the best releases in the format.
