I know that the "rain-out" location for many of the outdoor resort ceremony locations is a ballroom, but does Disney allow you to intentionally plan your ceremony in one of the ballroom venues? 
I've really fallen for the high ceilings and decor of the boardwalk ballrooms, and I think with some lighting touches and a little decor, it could be a fantastic ceremony location! The Nutcracker ballroom at the contemporary is lovely as well...
I'm thinking along the lines of:
Ceremony in Promenade Ballroom--likely only in one of the sections.
Cocktail Hour/Pre-reception in the St. James Room & Patio.
Reception back in the Promenade.
Still tossing around SBP and ADH; we have our site visit next month and I want to know if I should even ask about the Ballroom Ceremony option.
Avoiding that $2000 site fee would give me a lot more $$$ to play with!
