Hi everyone,
Calling upon the Dolphin experts here. I'm considering a balcony room at the Dolphin and I would like to know if it is worth the price. My mother is a nurse and can get get the nurse's discount on the room. Are the views worthwhile? If so what can you see? If you are in an inside wing room is the view obstructed?
Many thanks in advance for your advice and replies :)

I stayed at a balcony view one time, I cannot tell you exactly where, maybe the experts can, but I had a very clear view of the fireworks... We loved it..

We had a balcony view room and our view was of the boat launch with Tower of Terror in the distance.

Some of my favorite memories of that trip are of my younger son and I (the early birds of the family) sitting on the balcony having breakfast, watching people getting on the boats and making our plans for the day.

I'm a nurse so I had booked a standard room using my nurse discount. We received a complimentary upgrade to a balcony view room, so I don't know how much more it would've cost. That makes it hard for me to say whether it would be worth it or not, depends on how much more it would cost. But if at all possible, I hope to get another balcony view room next time we stay at the Dolphin.

my favorite one is of Epcot and watching Illuminations from the bed when we were just to pooped to stay at the parks.....remember having fun is hard work.......yes ...in my honest opinion it was fantastic and watching the sun come up was fantastic too.......

Here is the view we had from our balcony room #6025 from the Dolphin last year. As you can see, Spaceship Earth is in plain view (looks great at night when it's lit up!) and we could see the fireworks from Illuminations nightly!

Be really sure where the balcony room is. We had a balcony room on the inside wing (closest to the middle of the hotel) (I think it was 9071) and had a great view of rooms in the wing across from us. The only view we had was of the people in their hotel rooms! Make sure it's a Epcot view balcony.
