Yeah, because all the guest rooms are on the 2nd floor or higher, they all have balconies, and good ones, too. The chairs are not super comfy, not like the pool chaises, but it's nice to sit out and take a break.
Actually, no. There are a few rooms that face the courtyard the Monorail goes through that do not have balconies. If you want one, request it. Disney will do what they can to accomodate you, but no promises.
We've always had one and certainly enjoy it. The DTD view was my favorite, it is so fun to people watch and listen to the music from below. It's the only one of the three on-sites that offer true balcony's. Have a fabulous trip, you will love the Grand!
Thank you everyone. When I booked yesterday I was told that some rooms did not have balconies so I did request one. I just wanted to make sure because all the pictures show balconies. I need a balcony for my morning coffee We booked a standard room. Summer prices are really high and Friday nights cost even more. I am sure we will be happy though. I can't wait until July
