Baking

I went down to my aunts today to bake chocolate chip cookies for her. I did three batches, 4 dozen per batch. Friday I will make peanut butter cookies for her, probably the same amount.


Do you think I should rent my self out to other people? Would people be willing to pay someone to make homemade cookies for them?

Well, I don't know about a salary but at this time, Christmas bazaars are looking for bakers.

Cool! I don't know if you could get anyone to rent ya, but the bazaar suggestion sounds good. Nobody would "rent" me...I make yummy stuff but I also make a big mess. Sure I'd clean up after myself but in the meantime I might give someone a nervous condition.

Actually just joking about renting my self out, almost everyone in my family would have me making their cookies. Although I do love to bake (and cook too).

HECK YES PEOPLE PAY FOR THAT!! There were a lot of retired ladies in our old town that would make Christmas cookies for people. I think you would be surprised the amount of business you would get if you advertised that. Do you have a free shopper or anything you could put a free ad in to test the waters? Our old grocery store published a classified paper every couple weeks and you could put free ads in there--anything like that around you?

Yes, we live in a huge development (encompasses 2 counties) and we have our own newsletter. Also there is at least one other paper that offers free adds.

It would be even better, for me personally, if I could give you the recipes like my grandmother used to make for us and you could whip them up. I would so pay for that!
